• Enter ‘Reference ID’ that you got at the time of Voter ID Registration & Form No
• Click on ‘Track Status’
• You will get to see the status of your voter ID on the screen

Steps to check voter ID corrections online

• Log on to the official website of National Voters Services Portal http://www.nvsp.in/Forms/Forms/trackstatus
• You are required to provide reference number provided to you during the Form 8 submission.
• Click on 'Track Status'
• You may also track the status of your Voter ID by calling 1950 from your BSNL or MTNL telephone.
• The correction procedure takes 2 to 3 weeks of time. The required documents for the procedure are copies for offline submission and scanned copies for online submissions.

After applying for a voter ID card, there are two expected scenarios. First are you receiving your voter ID card in a month or two or at least the verification team visits your residence.

In case neither happens, one must inform the ERO (Electoral Roll Officer) Local Tahsildar, Zonal officer or the polling station of your area. If there is no response from them, you should log in to the official CEO website to understand the problem with your application and the stage at which it is stuck.

·       Click on ‘Know Application Status for Enrolment’

·       All required details will have to be provided
