The Railway Recruitment Board Chennai (RRB Chennai) has released notifications for various Technical and Non-Technical Posts. The Railway Department has decided to conduct the exam online. This is the biggest Government Recruitment Platform in India, which is recruiting about 2.5 Lakhs of candidates every year. The recruitment process is done in two phases.

The latest information regarding the Railway Recruitment Process is making the Aadhaar document mandatory in the process of filing the application form. If in case you do not have Aadhaar card then you will have to enrol for the Aadhaar card at the nearest Aadhaar enrollment centre. You can also use the 28-digit Aadhaar enrollment number while applying for the application form.

How to Apply for RRB Chennai Application Form

The Railway Recruitment Board has completely made the recruitment process online. Starting from the application process to the written exam. The application form is filled online from the official website.

The step by step process of applying the form are:
  1. ·         Visit the Official website.
  2. ·         On the Homepage screen, click on the Advertisement
  3. ·         Click on the “Advertisement” and you will be redirected to a page where you will find CEN 01/2017 or CEN 01/2018 Notification.
  4. ·         Click on the Notifications and read the instructions carefully.
  5. ·         Click on the “Apply Link” and fill in the required details.
  6. ·         Upload the photo and the signature and pay the application fee.
  7. ·         Finally click on the “Submit Button” and the complete the application process.

An acknowledgement number is provided at the end of the submission. This will help you to track the status of the application form. Through the online portal, you can also check the application status as well as download the admit card and check the results online.

Note: Furnishing your Aadhaar details at the time of the application process is mandatory. The Application Fee for the UR and OBC Category is Rs 100 whereas, the application fee is exempted for the ST/SC, Physically Handicapped and Women applicants.
·         The candidates should hold the Indian Citizenship.
